As a result of the on-going Coronavirus outbreak, the M.B.A. regrets to announce that all competitions & league programmes will be postponed until further notice and will be revisited as and when the government guidance changes.


World Bowls has cancelled their series due to be held in Australia in May/June.


The British Isles Bowls Council has also cancelled the Senior Internationals & Championships from 25th to 28th June 2020 at Llandrindod Wells.


The BIBC, Bowls Wales and WBA have all released statments, which can be found on the Welsh Bowls Website


This situation is not unique to bowls, with many other sports and competitions around the world taking similar cautionary measures.


The M.B.A. will follow the guidance and when there are any updates I will inform all clubs.

I realise, after this wet & storm force gales winter we've had, we were looking forward to our outdoor bowls and there will be disappointment in this delay.
The well-being of our fellow bowlers and their families must be paramount.
