The Executive Committee of the Welsh Bowling Association met last night Thursday 8th May and agreed the following arrangements for the 2021 season.
The National Finals will be held at Llandrindod Wells commencing on Friday September 10th and concluding on Monday September 20th.
This year Carruthers Shield Tournament will be a Triples competition. Four three wood triples played over 18 ends. Sectional matches can be played anytime after 26th April but must be concluded by Saturday 26th June.
Clubs who decide not to participate in this year's Carruthers shield matches will not be penalised.
The dress code for all matches this season will be grey trousers or shorts and club/county tops.
A new calendar of events will be circulated to all counties who can pass it on to their clubs.
Whilst the start date for outdoor activities has been brought forward the rule of thirty people in a space still applies.
Please remember that all government guidelines must be observed regarding social distancing and anyone who has symptoms of covid should not attend the greens and seek help and advice from the NHS helpline on 111.
