Another busy week with the final midweek MBA league matches on Wednesday, followed by the inter association matches Friday and the final WBA Section matches today.
 
MBA 1
Croesyceiliog stay top after a 12 – 2 victory over Pontymister Athletic but RTB keep up the pressure with a 14 – 0 win over Crosskeys. Bedwas had a good win today over Machen 13 – 1 to get their season going.
 
MBA 2
Beaufort stay top despite a 12 – 2 defeat at Brynmawr with Pontnewydd keeping up the pressure with a 12 – 2 win at Cwmbran. Pontypool Girlings also stay in touch after a 10 – 4 win at Abergavenny and Newbridge got their first win beating Caldicot 12 – 2.
 
MBA 3
Rhymney Royal go top after winning 12 – 2 at New Tredegar with Six Bells and Bedwellty Park both keeping up he pressure with 12 – 2 wins against Panteg House and Aberca respectively.
 
Inter Association
South Mon lead the way with a 18 – 4 win at Newport with Easte Valley chasing them after beating Rhymney & Sirhowy 16 – 6. With East Mon not playing this year, West Mon had a bye.
 
WBA 17
Newbridge scuppered Llanhilleth chances winning at Llan by 23 shots, but the section was decided at Blaina where visitors New Tredegar won by three shots to win the section, congratulations and good luck to them.
 
WBA 18
Ynysddu won at Brynmawr but the section decider was an all Rhymney affair where Royal beat the Gwent by 45 shots to take the section.
 
WBA 19
Big wins for both Abergavenny and St Julians but this section was already won by Bedwas and Trethomaas.
 
WBA 20
Caldicot had a great win by 2 shots over Pontnewydd but current Champions RTB Ebbw Vale won the section with a big win at Six Bells.
 
WBA 21
Crosskeys won at Panteg Park by 25 shots but not heard from Blackwood or Oakdale, unless Blackwood had a heavy defeat at home they would win this section
 
WBA 22
This section already decided with Cwmbran Park going through.
 
WBA 23
Beechwood had a big win against Gadiffaith but the section was decided at Blaenavon where the home team held out for a 2 shot win against Chepstow to win the section.
 
WBA 24
This section already won by Croesyceiliog.
 
WBA 25
Panteg House beat Aberca in the section but the decider was in Tredegar where Bedwellty Park held a slender lead at half way but the Beaufort experience came through second half to win the game by 15 shots at the finish to take the section.
 
WBA 26
Newport Athletic beat Firbank but this section was already won by Pontymister Athletic.
