WBA Carruthers Shield
Congratulations to Cwmbran Park on reaching the last eight, unfortunately it wasn’t to be today against an experienced Presteigne team, continue building and you will soon be a team to be reckoned with in the MBA.
All MBA hopes now ride with RTB who beat a strong Pontrhydyfen team to reach the semi finals, congratulations guys and good luck in Llandrindod. In the semi final they will play Harlequins while Presteigne play Ammanford Park.
 
MBA1
Leaders Croesyceiliog lost 10-4 at Pontymister Athletic and second place RTB also lost 12-2 at Crosskeys. Bedwas closed the gap to the top two winning 12-2 at Machen and Chepstow beat Blackwood 10-4.
 
MBA2
With Cwmbran in WBA action it was Caldicot who jumped over them into second place with a 12-2 win over Newbridge. Beaufort are back up to fourth after beating Brynmawr 12-2 and a rejuvenated Pontypool beat Abergavenny 11-3.
 
MBA3
Blaina are up to third after beating second place St. Julians 12-2, Aberca beat Bedwellty 10-4 and Panteg House beat Six Bells 10-4.
 
MBA4
Panteg Park are the new leaders after beating Ynysddu 10-4, Firbank moved out of the relegation places with a 12-2 win over Whiteheads and bottom club Caerleon recorded a much needed win over Pontymister Welfare 12-2.
 
MBA5
Beechwood remain dominant in the division after thrashing second place Newport 14-0, elsewhere Belle Vue won 12-2 at Gilwe and Gadiffaith beat Pontyfelin 13-1.
 
GBL1
Pontymister Athletic stay top after beating neighbours Pontymister Welfare 12-0 and Newbridge move up to third after winning 12-0 at Crickhowell.
 
GBL2
Chepstow are the new leaders after winning 10-2 at Blackwood and Abertillery stay in touch with a 10-2 win over Blaina.
 
GBL3
Only one result in so far with Pontypool beating Abergavenny 7-0. Not sure how this new venture is going down, Belle Vue have not submitted a result for ages and have only played two, not heard from them though but they must be struggling.
