Roundup of M.B.A. Matches and G.B.L. Matches

First MBA league matches were played yesterday and I begin my round up by saying that every club must submit their results, my system is set up so that both results must be in and matched before I publish them but if I did this we wouldn't have many results on the website at all.

It is equally important to inform me of any postponed matches and the new date of those matches.

In division one the early pacemakers are Machen, Bedwas and Beaufort who all secured twelve points followed by newly promoted Cwmbran who had an impressive win against champions RTB.

Division two have four teams on twelve points, Rhymney Gwent, Abergavenny, Blackwood and Abertillery.

Division three is led by Blaina who picked up all fourteen points followed by three sides on twelve, Brynmawr, Six Bells and Blaenavon.

Three teams made twelve in division four, Llanwern, Llanhilleth and Pontymister Welfare followed by St. Julians on eleven.

Whiteheads and Belle Vue head division five with twelve points each followed by Panteg Park on ten.

With the results I have in division six, Ynysddu have fourteen and Beechwood on ten.

Beaufort still lead GBL1, despite yesterday's game being postponed by their opponents, and with the results I have had in Newbridge lead GBL2.

It is obvious from the postponed matches and the results with teams playing short that a number of clubs are struggling, it is all our responsibilities to promote and foster our game so I urge everyone to bring a friend to Bowls and let's keep our game alive and kicking.
