A tremendous game in the county cup final last night (Friday 3rd August), with two ends to play Beaufort held a one shot lead and seemed to have the game sown up holding two on one rink and a bucket full on the other, the game swung with Jon Tomlinson's last Bowl when he drove at the head and the white bounced about before landing in a spot that left RTB with four shots, this result inspired the other rink to pull out two close bowls from Lee Thomas and Owain Dando to secure a five shot win for RTB. Congratulations to both teams on what was a tremendous advert for Monmouthshire Bowls.
