Inter Association
Friday Night (12th) saw all three matches go the way of the away team with Newport gaining most points 18-4 at East Mon, followed by West Mon 16-6 at Eastern Valley and South Mon 16-6 at Rhymney. This leaves West Mon top by 20 points with one match remaining and only a complete melt down in their last game at Blaina will prevent them from retaining the championship.


M.B.A. Division 1
Leaders R.T.B. Ebbw Vale were on a bye giving the chasing group a chance to close the gap, Machen did with a 12-2 win over Abertillery and so did Bedwas with a similar win over Blackwood but Pontymister Athletic could only pick up 4 points at Chepstow. Beaufort seem rooted to the bottom after losing 3-11 at home to Crosskeys.

M.B.A. Division 2
A top of the table clash saw Croesyceiliog beat Brynmawr 12-2 a result that allowed Rhymney Gwent to jump up to second after beating Abergavenny 12-2 and Newbridge moved up to third after a 12-2 win over Blaina. Caldicot won 10-4 at Bedwellty to ease their fears of relegation.

M.B.A. Division 3
Pontnewydd stay top after beating Blaenavon 12-2 and Llanhilleth stay second after beating St. Julians 12-2. Six Bells move up to third after beating Caerleon 13-1. Rhymney Royal also won 13-1 at New Tredegar.

M.B.A. Division 4
Panteg House return to the top after beating Belle Vue 14-0 while Pontymister Welfare and Whiteheads battled out a 7-7 draw. Firbank beat Ebbw Vale 12-2.

M.B.A. Division 5
Newport Athletic beat Garndiffaith 12-2 and Beechwood won 14-0 at Gilwern.

G.B.L. Division 1
Croesyceiliog remain top after a 10-2 win at Crickhowell and Bedwas continue to chase them winning 8-4 at Blackwood. RTB won 10-2 at Abercarn and Chepstow also won 10-2 at Caldicot. Pontymister Athletic beat Newbridge 12-0.

G.B.L. Division 2
Blaina beat Pontymister Welfare and closed the gap on the leaders moving into second place.
