WLB Under 25 Double Rink
Another congratulations to our Under 25 Double Rink Team who today capturing the Under 25 Double Rink title at Llandrindod Wells today. After coming through a section containing South Glamorgan, West Glamorgan and Mid Wales, Monmouthshire came away with victory as they saw off Mid Glamorgan in the final to secure a 2nd title in a matter of weeks.
A fantastic achievement and well done to all involved. Looks like our future is in good hands.
WLB Carruthers - 3rd Round
14 teams entered the final round of Carruthers matches in Monmouthshire, looking to take one of the 7 places up for grabs in the last 32. Beaufort, Bedwas & Trethomas and Croesyceiliog secured comfortable wins to secure their places. Cwmbran secured a 24 shot win at Rhymney Royal whilst RTB Ebbw Vale also progressed with a 15 shot away win at Blaenavon. The final 2 matches ended much closer with only 3 shots separating both games. Pontymister Athletic winning at St. Julians whilst Panteg House secured victory against Blackwood.

MBA Cup - 2nd Round
With no scheduled fixtures in the top 4 division of the MBA, a few teams took on the chance to bring forward their upcoming MBA Cup Matches. New Tredegar overcoming Panteg Park and Pontnewydd defeating Machen to book their place in the 3rd Round.
MBA Division 5
Pontymister Welfare retuing to winning ways and moved 3rd as they recorded a 10-4 win at Newport Athletic, whilst Caerleon also picked up 10 points with an away win at Belle Vue. Further down, Gilwe (v Gadiffaith) and Crickhowell (v PILCS) both recorded a maximum 14 points in their first wins of the season.
GBL 3 Rink - Division 1
Pontymister Athletic (v Caldicot) and Crosskeys (v Croesyceiliog) both picked up 12-0 wins, and sit 2nd and 3rd in the table. Blackwood recorded their first win of the season in another game where maximum points where picked up by the winning team.
GBL 3 Rink - Division 2
A busy afteoon in Division 2 as all 8 teams were in action. Aberca kept up their 100% record as they moved top with a 12-0 win at home to Newbridge. Bedwellty Park also remain undefeated and lie 3rd, following their 12-0 over Beechwood. Chepstow (10-2 v Abergavenny) and Blaina (12-0 v Pontymister Welfare) also recorded wins, and now sit 4th and 5th respectively.
GBL 2 Rink - Division 1
A quiet afteoon in the division, as Pontypool Park Girlings travelled to Beaufort, coming away with an 8-2 victory to secure their first win of the season.
GBL 2 Rink - Division 2
The bank holiday week affected a number of matches in the division with player shortages. In the only game played, Panteg Park extended their lead at the top as they picked up the full 10 points at home to Blackwood.
