MBA Cup
Round 2 of the MBA Cup took place on Friday with 11 matches taking place, as Panteg House, Oakdale and Pontymister Athletic all received byes into the next round with their respective opponents conceding the match due to player shortages. Pontnewydd and New Tredegar had already booked their places in the next round with matches played in the previous week. There were wins on the night for Crosskeys, Newbridge, RTB Ebbw Vale, Rhymney Royal, Aberca, Beechwood, Blackwood and Beaufort as they all booked their places in round 3. In the remaining games there were only a handful of shots between the sides at the end, leaving St. Julians, Croesyceiliog and Cwmbran Park make up the last 16.

MBA Division 1
Croesyceiliog move upto 2nd place in the league as they inflicted St. Julians first defeat of the season, picking up all 14 points on offer. Blackwood also moved up in the table to 3rd place, as they took 12 points at RTB Ebbw Vale. Bedwas remain in 4th following a 10-4 win over Crosskeys whilst Cwmbran Park secured their first win of the season as they picked up 12 points at Pontymister Athletic.
MBA Division 2
Newbridge move to the top of the table as they kept up their 100% record with a 12-2 win over Rhymney Royal. Ynysddu remain 3rd and close the gap with those above them as they picked up 13 points at home to Blaenavon, who slip to 2nd place following the defeat. A first win of the season for Blaina at Caldicot (12-2) sees them move upto 4th place whilst Rhymney Gwent opened their league campaign with an 8-6 win over Pontypool Park Girlings.
MBA Division 3
Llanhilleth (10-4 v Abergavenny) and Bedwellty Park (10-4 v Pontnewydd) are the early pace setters in the league as they both maintain their winning starts to the season. Panteg House move upto 4th place following a comprehensive 14-0 win at home to Machen whilst Beechwood secure their first win with a 10-4 win over Chepstow.
MBA Division 4
New Tredegar remain top and make it 3 wins from 3 games, following a narrow 10-4 win at Aberca. Abertillery move 2nd as they secured all 14 points at home to Beaufort. Panteg Park (12-2 v Whiteheads) and Firbank(12-2 v Oakdale) also secured home victory to move up in the table.
MBA Division 5
A 4th consecutive win for Six Bells sees them hold onto top spot, as they took 13 points from Belle Vue. Newport Athletic sit just 2 points behind as they won 12-2 over rivals Caerleon. Crickhowell (12-2 at Gilwe) and Oakdale Welfare ( 8-6 v PILCS ) both secured wins to move up in table and now sit 3rd and 4th respectively. In the final game of the division, Gardiffaith came away with a 12-2 win at Pontymister Welfare.
3 Rink GBL - Division 1
With only 2 matches taking place, Monmouth continued their winning start, making it 4 from 4, as they won 12-2 at home to Bedwas. In the other game of the afteoon, a single shot separate the sides as Blackwood edged out Pontymister Athletic to record a 10-2 win.
3 Rink GBL - Division 2
Aberca maintained their winning run and top spot as they saw off Blaina in a 10-2 win. Bedwellty Park also continued their winning start and now sit 2nd in the table secured following their maximum points win at Chepstow.
2 Rink GBL - Division 1
Bailey Park are the new division leaders as they won 8-2 against Beaufort. Pontypool Park Girlings move into 3rd place as they took all 10 points at Croesyceiliog.
2 Rink GBL - Division 2
Panteg Park remain top despite falling to an 8-2 defeat at Oakdale. Panteg House close the gap with the at the top as they took the full 10 points at Blackwood whilst a much closer encounter at Caldicot saw the home side come away with an 8-2 win.
