Extreme heat weather waing for the weekend 12th & 13th July 2025

It looks like temperatures will reach over 30?c and in some cases 33?c this weekend.

As you are aware, the health and wellbeing to our members is paramount and therefore the MBA have no objection to the cancellation of bowls matches scheduled for Saturday or Sunday afteoon.

Common sense is paramount under these extreme conditions especially with older adults or young children involved. Please stay in the shade as much as possible and take regular water drink breaks 

 The MBA accept no liability for any bowls games played this weekend; if games are played, the club must take full responsibility for the health and safety of their players.
