RED WEATHER WARNING FOR EXTREME HEAT (24th & 25th June 2026)

The Monmouthshire Bowling Association considers the safety of its members to be paramount and as such fully supports WLB's advise for clubs to cancel all games until the red weather waing ends (currently 21:00 BST Thursday 25th June). County competitions can be played if mutually agreed but we strongly recommend that players take every precaution to protect themselves from the sun and heat and build regular water breaks (in the shade if possible) into the game. If either team has any conces about playing and wishes to postpone their match then please contact the competition secretary Les Bowd who will agree an alteative date for the tie to be played asap.
