Match Reports from the Carruther's Shield Semi-Finals and Final, M.B.A. and G.B.L. Leagues

W.B.A. Carruthers Shield
Sadly both RTB and Beaufort narrowly lost out in the Carruthers semi finals at Llandrindod and in an exciting final congratulations to Tenby who over came Penylan to take the shield.

A lot of postponements in Monmouthshire yesterday giving us more problems but hopefully some nice weather for the remainder of the season will give us chance to get them sorted.

M.B.A. Division 1
Crosskeys picked up a valuable 14 at home to Blackwood.

M.B.A. Division 2
Abergavenny beat Blaina 11-3 to move up to fourth and leaving Blaina at the bottom.

M.B.A. Division 3
Rhymney Royal go second after a 13-1 win at Pontypool and Llanhilleth go third following a 12-2 win at Blaenavon. Six Bells beat Pontypool Park Girlings 10-4 in a rearranged game today.

M.B.A. Division 4
Washed out

M.B.A. Division 5
With Ynysddu flooded Panteg Park went back to the top after a 12-2 win over Garndiffaith. Monmouth recorded a 10-4 victory over Beechwood.

G.B.L. Division 1
The only result I have is an exciting 61-61 draw between Newbridge and Crickhowell who shared the points too 6-6.

G.B.L. Division 2
Looks as if this was washed out too.
