Regrettably, I have to inform you that the Championship Trial to have been held at Beaufort this coming Sunday, 8th. May, has been cancelled.

 

There has been over half of the players selected to play in the trial withdrawing from the trial due to other commitments. This is extremely unfortunate but having to cancel is unavoidable in the circumstances.

 

Would you please ensure that you inform bowlers from your club who were selected for the trial that it has been cancelled. The last thing we want is to rub salt in the wound by players tuing up at Beaufort on a wasted jouey.

 

The selectors will now meet on Monday, 9th May, to select the team from the availability list to travel to Carmarthen on the 22nd May.
