RTB Move to the top with a comprehensive 14-0 win over former leaders Croesyceiliog. Crosskeys beat Blackwood 12-2, Pontymister Athletic beat Bedwas 12-2 and Rhymney Gwent won 10-4 at Machen.
 
MBA2
Cwmbran continue to press for the top with a 12-2 win over Pontypool but leaders Pontnewydd hit back with an 11-3 win at Newbridge. Abergavenny beat Beaufort 12-2 and Abertillery beat Brynmawr 10-4.
 
MBA3
Blaina are up to second after winning 12-2 at Six Bells, Bedwellty retu to winning ways beating Panteg House 10-4 and New Tredegar thumped Abercan 14-0.
 
MBA4
Blaenavon continue to push on at the top with a big 14-0 win over Caerleon, Panteg Park slipped up at home to Firbank 12-2 and Ynysddu won 12-2 against Oakdale. Whiteheads continue their recent good form winning 12-2 at Pontymister Welfare.
 
MBA5
Beechwood won 12-2 at Belle Vue and Gadiffaith won 8-6 against Gilwe.
 
GBL1
The only results i have saw Newbridge win 10-2 at Croesyceiliog and Crickhowell beat Pontymister Welfare 12-0.
 
GBL2
Monmouth are back on top after a 10-2 win at Blackwood, Caldicot beat Blaina12-0 and Beechwood beat Abertillery 10-2.
 
GBL3
Bailey Park won 7-0 at Abergavenny and Crosskeys won 5-2 at Whiteheads.
 
County Finals Day
At the county finals today Beaufort won the open pairs where Daniel Davies Jnr and Chris Klefenz beat Roger Jones and Ryan Davies in a top class game. Beaufort also won the senior pairs with Clive and Peter Williams beating John Vale and Gethin Hill. The senior triples was won by Llanhilleth, Graham Jones, Lawrence Jefferies and Tom Tranter when Tom tued the jack with the last bowl of the game against Pontymister Athletics Lloyd Tubull, Andy Elias and Roger Simms. Over 55 fours went to Cwmbrans Ian Wright, Bryn Berry, Pat Luffman and Martin Strange who beat Bedwas four, Mike Aldworth, Gareth Williams, Alun Thomas and Clive Griffiths. Oliver Witchell held off a spirited fight back by Cory Bancroft to take the U18 title again and Crosskeys triple Paul Duggan, Darren Hobbs and Tom Hancock took the open triples against Rhymney Gwents James Davies, Colin Clabby and Mathew Wilde. In the U25 singles Ashley Naylor of St Julians beat Beauforts Ryan Davies and in the over 60 singles, Paul Watkins, Crosskeys beat Clive Williams Beaufort. Congratulations to you all and good luck in Llandrindod for the Nationals. In the champion of Champion singles, Steve Toms RTB beat Rob Jenkins, Pontypool Park Girlings.
