Caerleon Sport Weekly Roundup - Week 11

Inter Association
Friday saw the penultimate round of the Inter Association take place with the West Mon moving to top stop with a 17-5 against Easte Valley. South Mon move to 2nd with a 17-5 win against Rhymney & Sirhowy. The final week sees West Mon take on South Mon in what what will probably be a winner takes all match but Newport & District, with the right results, will be looking to to pip both teams at the final hurdle.

WBA Carruthers Shield
RTB proved too strong for Rhymney Gwent in the the all MBA tie of the round, booking their place in last four with a 42 shot win. Crosskeys battled strongly away to Harlequins in hope of making it an all MBA semi Final but unfortunately fell just short, going down by 6 shots. Blaenavon's game against Old Llandorians fell foul of the weather and had to be postponed but we wish them all the best and hope they will join RTB in Llandrindod Wells on the 12th August.
