Vacancy - Performance Manager for Welsh Bowls


The Welsh Bowls Federation (WBF) is looking to appoint a Performance Manager to produce and deliver a Performance Plan from now through to the Commonwealth Games in 2018.

The WBF is seeking a well-respected Performance Manager with a sound and current knowledge of the elite bowls world coupled with the ability to develop and improve further the performance of the most talented Elite Bowlers in Wales.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a new Performance Plan and Elite Performance Programme utilising support services from the Welsh Bowls Coaching Association and National Team Managers.

This is a Part Time post and it is anticipated that it would equate to 2/3 days per week. The hours associated with the post will be variable dependent upon the schedule of events within the Performance Plan and Elite Performance Programme.

The initial appointment would be for a six months probationary period commencing from 1st October2015 to 31st March 2016. A payment of circa £20,000 per annum is payable subject to annual review and future funding.
